Restaurants Chicago - Alinea (very recommendable)

Alinea is unique and one will not forget the flavours and sensations. Some of the flavours literally exploded in the mouth. Presentation-wise it was certainly the most original I have ever seen.

The wine paring was excellent but expensive. But if one is already going to spend a lot, then one should try the wine pairings. 

However, for me, it is not an experience that I want to repeat. I found the flavours were excessive and sometimes were competing against each other. 

Service is pleasant, attentive, and yet not formal.

$225 per person with wine pairing.
