Restaurants Montreal - Isakaya (recommendable)

Montreal is always a great day trip! It is such a vibrant and multi-cultural city! The purpose of this visit was to meet someone who just recently opened a new tea shop in Montreal -very inspiring for me.

The is a good Japanese restaurant that is close to McGill University. The location is very central and easy to find.

I tried the grilled Chiliean Sea bass with lemon miso sauce ($23) which tasted delicious. I must confess that I am a fan of Chiliean Sea Bass and it is difficult to cook it bad. It is a tender white fish with no bones.

The sushi (16pcs for $23) looked nicely rolled and fresh. The Futomaki was a small variation of the usual one, with tempura batter and avocado. It was an original idea and was tasted delicious.

There is not much to say about service or decor - both normal.
